The Origin
Back in 2021 when Philomina Ntein decided to start up plantain chips production, she noticed from her visibility studies that most of the chips in the market were thick, hard to eat, and lacked variety in taste. As a passionate snack consumer, she felt that snack lovers deserved more. This sparked up her mission into researching on how to make snacking especially plantain chips better. Her goal was to come up with a snack product that would be easy to chew even by babies, rich in tastes and most importantly, very healthy.
At the end of her research, she found in the EBANGA and MOUNJA brand of plantain mostly grown in the tropical regions of Cameroon a good raw material that when mixed with the right ingredients and under the right temperature would produce crispy and crunchy chips. She also found a way to blend healthy natural resources that produce multiple flavors and give different unique taste to plantain chips. These findings led to the birth of Non-Stop Munch Flavored Plantain Chips.
